Chances

there is no such thing as RD for business school. As a high school senior, you can apply as a pre-admit, but that's it.

Looking at your stats though, you're not pre-admit material. Sorry.

you should just try to get into UM and apply to the bschool your freshman year

If last year (the first and only year where Ross pre-admitted students) is anything to go by, a student with sub 1400 SAT/3.7 unweighed GPA does not stand much of a chance for pre-admit. However, each case is handled separately so one never knows.

hey, if 1400 was the average sat, would you know the average act??

Ross means: 1420 SAT and 32 ACT.

According to a page on the Ross site, the average SAT was a 1419, the average ACT was a 31, average GPA 3.8. The page has alot of other information about the average person that recieved a pre-admit, such as extracurriculars, etc.

The most impressive stat is the 716 applications for 115 acceptances (16%).

I heard that Ross looks at essays more closely. So you cannot and should not predict the decision solely based on the stats.

Spark, that it is true to an extent. I don't know of any non-URM that had an ACT below 30... and with the with passage of the affirmative action ban and additional expected applications, the stats are hghly likely to go up. The acceptance rate is expected to be below 16% this year. See the link posted by andy jay above for the pre-admit Ross considerations (in addition to the essay, which is important) and the other stats.

Alexandre is correct... although anything is possible, it is highly unlikely that India will get in as a pre-admit this year.
