Any opinions good or bad? Thanks!

I would suggest taking the SAT again on Jan 28th and try to get your scores up to at least 1400. ATM I think that your SAT will pull you down even with the help of the family friend.

Best of luck to you.

According to ND the major you pick should not make any difference. I think ND is a significant reach for you and I would definately be working as hard as you can in your classes as well as on the SAT (another shot is definately worthwhile). Good luck.
