Do your worst!

You won't get in. You should just apply to community college or something.

Thanks.

Anyone else?

Yngwie : Dont mind him he is always like that. :)

I cant comment on your chances but your SAT seems low, mate. Good Luck!

If you ask me, you should make sure to emphasize that you are applying to the College of Arts and Sciences. Dartmouth really likes students who know a lot about the school.

^^^ um, no.

since you're applying to Dartmouth, you are clearly applying to the one and only undergraduate school ...

also, the fact that you need FAid is not relevant - not really against you, but it makes people seem uneducated about the school when they include that - makes it seem a generic chances thread that you post on every board ... which isn't bad, but you could at least make it seem like you didn't.

@ rightnotleft

I am being sarcastic.... the OP wrote "Projected Major: Economics and History minor (College of Arts and Sciences)". So I was mocking him/her for the fact that they probably mass posted this chances thread.

It will be an uphill battle given the SAT scores and GPA.

31 is fine for his situation
30k a year and working 20hrs/week at the grocery store.

You will be competitive. Your scores and grades are fine; everything is taken into the context of your opportunity.

But everything initially is based on a academic index. A higher ACT score would do wonders for the application.

pamplemoose - my bad ... i didn't read the prospective major heading b/c it's pretty irrelevant what you put there anyway ... sorry bout that.

chances threads are so dumb. you might get in. you probably won't. that goes for almost everyone who applies.

Wow john...
