2 great teacher recs and a mediocre counselor rec

your scores, awards, and EC's are alright. you have a really nice courseload tho. macro/calc/stat is a nice combination. i think you're reaching a little but not too much. you have a chance, and your international work will definately help. im saying 60%. good luck.

Your scores other than your math portion of the ACT and math SATII are underwhelming, but you have a shot.
If you are really interested in NU, why not give it a try? You certainly won't get in if you don't!

well, unfortunately -4 on that sat math = 700 (it should've prob been a 750 w/o stupid mistakes)

my full senior courseload: AP Calc, AP Econ, AP Env. Sci, AP Spanish Lit, Eng. 12, Arch Design, Gov. {aka 'kill me now'}

does the app take a long time to complete? Also, I read about a new undergrad biz program thru kellogg?

Kellogg School Certificate Program for Undergraduates - Kellogg School of Management - Northwestern University

Good shot, not a great one. They take 30 percent more or less. You stand a chance. The ECs are average, but not above average--you really need to be above average to get in.

If you write great essays and short answers you will have a good shot, otherwise it's a reach,.

Good luck.

I'd say you have a good chance. Around 70% admit rate for you personally I'd say.

how long does the app take to complete, on average?

any other thoughts?

That you're asking a lot of questions.

not to be a party pooper, but 70 % seems a bit high for a 2040 SAT. Maybe i'm worng, who knows I am not an admissions counselor!

this person has a 1320 average sat and a verbal score that is about 90 points below the average for ENROLLED. The sat score alone puts this person about 140 points below the mean for Enrolled students. I would say, this person has less than a 15-20 percent chance of gaining admission.

70% is REALLY high. I don't even think you can say that if this person applied ED. Scores aren't high enough for NU and you're from a state which is pretty well-represented. Hmm, the only thing you can work on is your essays at this point. More awards could definitely help. Anyhow, I'd say Reach.

reach, very high match at best.

bad scores, no spectacular ECs that will make up for them.

but you won't know if you'll get in unless you apply, so do not let any of us discourage you. the only way you are guaranteed rejection is if you do not apply at all
