<p>We are on the same boat. I am from Dallas as well...rejected by Rice ED and was crushed...waitlisted by WashU </p>
<p>The funny thing is that 2 of my siblings went to Rice and the other 2 went to WashU, but I guess they don't see me worthy enough??</p>

<p>^^^ They don't, I called emory and an adcom told me they don't even look at it.....look at rodney's post on the first page, they don't look at rank, if you go on college board, they say class rank is a very minor thing in admissions for emory (according to the college board, "interest shown" is much more important than class rank)....</p>
