Hoping this is the best place to pose these questions as I just made this account less than 20 minutes ago. Questbridge, as slim as the chances to actually become a finalist and then get matched are, seems like something too good to pass up so I need to get some answers about it and this seemed like the place to ask.
I read somewhere on here that some people that are above the $65,000 income cut-off rec still apply and that there’s a portion on the application where you can further explain your financial situation. In this situation, if I think I’m a good candidate and have other extenuating circumstances that could demonstrate my need for this, would I have a chance if I applied? Should I even devote the time to applying?
Second to and dependent upon this, if you were selected and applied to colleges through Questbridge’s college match, what would happen if you had already independently applied before? One of my colleges I was considering is UChicago and they’re also a Questbridge partner college. If I were accepted to the Questbridge program would I have to apply again?
Hoping to get some answers!
