How about that Honors Program? Could I get into that?

If that's a national merit semifinalist standing, then your chances for the honors program are very good. The ACT score seems to be a bit low, but your grades look excellent as do the extracurriculars. I'd say you're as good as most of the other honors people I know here, so you definitely have a good shot.

definitely in for regular decision. The standardized test score is a bit low, but I think UGA may give you a break for the honors program because you are top 5% of your class and you have a tough courseload.

heck yeah!! UGA is not that hard to get into and your stats are off the charts. Try for something more selective, you'll def. get in. Good luck.

FYI - I would not list Who's Who on your awards for any college apps, etc. It means absolutely nothing. And don't take that the wrong way - I do not mean to say that you aren't an outstanding scholar.

What I mean by this is that by bro a few years back got Who's Who among American High School Football Players. All he had to do was buy the book, send in his team photo something or another. Well - he never played any sport in high school, let alone football, and totally forget being an outstanding player.

This is a money maker for that company. They talk their book "award" up really nice and pretty, but no college wants to see it because they know it's not based on merit.

Actually, Who's Who is considered a "major award" by UGA Board of Regents standards. It's mainly extremely upper level schools you must not tell this award to (like the Ivies, Stanford, etc.).

you are pretty much in. and wasn't the honors program stuff already due? or isn't it soon? you should have applied for FF because then you are automatically considered for Honors.
