<p>I will be a senior and am a white male from Appleton WI.

AP German</p>

<p>I had good grades freshman year (3.96), dropped quite a bit soph year (3.8ish), but brought them up my hardest year, junior year (4.0).
I have a UWGPA of 3.92 and an ACT of 35 (36 Math, 36 English, 36 Science, 30 Reading), SAT 2190 (730 CR, 790 Math, 670 Writing 10 essay), SAT IIs Math 2 800, Physics 750</p>

<p>I have won the MAA at my school the last three years and advanced in the AMC 12 last two years.</p>

<p>I have taken AP Calc BC, Two College Math Classes at local colleges, AP English Language, AP US History, AP Physics C</p>

<p>I went to Germany over the summer as well as going to the NYLF on Medicine and am fluent in German.</p>

<p>I am interested in biomedical engineering, planning on going to med school.
Just wondering, I am an active member of mensa, does that help at all?

<p>You have a good shot at Rice ED, but if you get deferred make sure to apply to more schools, with your list you risk getting in nowhere.</p>

Not Really. Most students at top university could qualify for Mensa if they tried. It's only top 2%.</p>

<p>I'm sitting at JHU right now and I had lower stats then you.</p>

<p>personally I think mensa tests have a heavy american bias. A lot of analogies with SAT words that most foreigners would not know. A simple game of memorization rather than a test of logical thinking.</p>
