Hook: President and Co-Founder of my own business that generates over $10,000 of sales a year.

well that depends on where i get in because both are very competitive. I prefer Ross over Stern just because of the campus life and football team. Academically aren't they both the same? US News had them so close. Any input on that?

i chose ross over stern because of the campus life and i felt like i needed to get away from home. i know that i want to work in nyc when i graduate, but i wouldn't want to go to school there. in terms of ranking, i'd say they're equal.. but once the new business building is finished, ross' ranking better go up -_-

no im a senior in hs
thats what im thinking too and plus Ross is bound to give more money than NYU does because anything is better than nothing. haha

i applied to LSA in november and received my acceptance in early december. i applied to ross preadmit but i have no idea when that decision goes out

Some decisions have already gone out. However, last year it seemed like the largest number of decisions came in March... one to three weeks before the April 1 deadline at some of the top schools.

Although Michigan is cheaper than NYU, you're unlikely to get much, if anything, from UM unless you have financial need.

are the decisions that Ross sends out on a rolling basis or are they based on credentials? Someone in another thread claimed they got a phone call that told them they got in but i don't know if thats true.

I don't doubt that a few students got calls, but most hear on a rolling basis without a phone call... at least last year. I expect those that received calls were highly sought after candidates that had excellent credentials or were URMs.

Im getting a little worried because ive heard absolutely nothing since i got accepted into LSA. No scholarships or any word on Ross. Is this a bad sign for both of them?
