Chances: Ross

I applied to Ross EA.
I didn't show interest in Business at all in high school, but my sibling who goes to the school told me that Michigan had a really good business program, so I applied.

How are my chances? I don't think I'll get into Ross.. but if I get into LSA, I'll still be happy.

Your GPA is excellent, that will help you a lot. Your SAT is a little average and your ECs are as well. Unless you have some amazing ECs and essays, you probably won’t get pre-admit to Ross but LSA shouldn’t be a problem at all. Just work real hard at Michigan next year and you’ll get into Ross then if you choose to attend Michigan.

ook
I agree also…about my chances for Ross.

fyi, they don’t superscore your SATs for Ross. and fwiw, i don’t really know what constitutes ‘good’ extra currics, but i would say mine were fairly average and i got in.

your gpa is excellent, your SAT is slightly below the average (iirc, my year the M+CR for admitted students was 1492), so i would say you have at the VERY best, assuming your essays are great, an average shot, but most likely won’t get in unless your SAT goes up about 100-150 points

Does Ross look at all 3 sections of the SAT, or just M+CR. I think my M+CR is ok, but my W is pretty low.

you’re right in the range of the average pre-admits stats I’d say which go from 1450-1500 for SAT so its really gona come down to your essays

oh haha my essays were pretty bad since i didn’t know much about business
okayy here i come LSA!
