Chances rushing as a sophomore?

I never got to rush my freshman year since I was extremely busy and was already too stressed. Now I regret that decision and wish to rush as a sophomore but I'm afraid it will be too late. I've heard a lot of sororities don't take sophomores, and some people say that every girl who rushes receives a bid but a couple other people say they don't. Can someone clarify if everyone does or doesn't? I'm aware of most of the tier/reputations of most of the sororities but I'm going in with an open mind. :)
Do I have any chance of receiving a bid/being recruited as a sophomore?
if someone can help that would be great!!!!

Hi umichwolverine1,
You are not alone, I posted a very similar question a few weeks ago. Check it out here:
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/university-michigan-ann-arbor/1372604-sophomore-rushing-sorority.html</a>. It answers most of your questions. Some sororities will not take you as a sophomore, but you still receive a bid somewhere. I think more sophomores will be rushing than you or I expect. Hope this helps, best of luck :)

thanks for the help!:)
