*also, is this worth retaking it to improve the math if it's the only thing I have going for me?

Soccer all four years

Letters of recommendation from Journalism, Comp Sci, and APUSH teachers.

Thanks in advance for your brutal honesty!

Rutgers: Low match
NJIT: Safety
Binghamton: High match (OOS)

Thanks for the reply. Would a better writing/math SAT scores improve my chances at Rutgers? I’ve also heard multiple times that it’s comparatively easier to get into Rutgers from instate, especially with a good essay (which I can definitely do). Can anyone back that up?

Rutgers is definitely a target. GPA is somewhat low, but you are instate so i would think you would get in with a good essay. Definitely try to improve your math and writing scores

You’ll be accepted into the School of Arts and Sciences but once you complete Intro to CS, Calc I, and Data Structures you can officially declare a CS major. So, don’t worry about Rutgers not accepting you because they most likely will because your in-state. Its a good match for you though.

Low match means you have a great shot of getting in.

I understand but if you check Rutgers CS website they require you to pass those two courses. So even if this person got into SAS they wouldn’t have CS as a major until passing them.
