<p>Hi!!! I am planning to do ED in Williams. Can i please get some feedbacks on my chances? I am also thinking bout RD in the following colleges -
Swarthmore...Vassar...Middlebury...Princeton......Cornell....Grinell...Harvard..
..Amherst ..Bard...and Bowdoin.
Personal Profile:Bangladeshi male, applying as an international candidate.</p>

<p>Academic Stats -
SAT 1 - M:770 CR:750 W:740
SAT 2 - Math 2c:770, Physics:800, Chem:760 (retaking Math 2 and chem in Dec as i had food poisoning the day of the exam...wish i took an enema!!..he he)</p>

<p>British O Level - 11 As in 11 subjects - Best result in Bangladesh.Highest in the nation in Commerce.
British A Levels - As in Economics Math Chem and Physics. Further math predicted grade - A. Highest in the country in AS Economics.
Secondary School - top 1%. My school is one of the most prestigious schools in the country. Its insanely competitive and graduates regularly get into top colleges. In one particular year, 3 students from a class of 20 were admitted to MIT. Last year students were accepted at Harvard, Princeton, Duke, Brandeis, Bowdoin, Smith, Amherst etc. So i reckon my school's got a good rep. (2 students were accepted at Williams in the past 3 year)
Awards:</p>

-Selectedas one of the Achievers of the Year by SWM -the most circulated magazine in the country.
-Valedictorian of the Graduating class.
-Valedictorian of the Nation Builders of Tomorrow Award.
-Award for achieving the best O'level result in the Nation.</p>

<p>Extra Curriculars:</p>

<p>-3 times national swimming champion. Trying out for the National Swimming Team.
-Highschool Basktball.
-Member of the Highschool Volleyball Team. Our team was the National Highschool Volleyball Champion for 3 years in a row.
-2 times Badminton Champion.
-Community service: taught kids suffering from Cystic Fibrosis math.
-Organised a Fundraising drive for street children.
-Associate Editor of the school magazine.
-Pre Worlds Debate -nationally ranked.
-Playing the guitar for 7 years.
-Work in the most widely read English Magazine in the country.
-O level Commerce Tutor.
-Doing a Research Paper on Economics titles -'The Failure of Monetary policy Implementation in Developing Countries'

PS: In case i get deferred (hope not) should i sit for my SAt 2 Math 2c and chem again in conjunction with Sat 2 Bio??</p>

<p>Write a compelling essay and I think your chances are excellent for Williams. When it comes to schools like Harvard and Princeton, it<code>s a crapshoot for anyone, but I wouldn</code>t be surprised at all if they accepted you since you have alot of national recognition in both academics and sports. I don`t see why you should re-take your SAT2s...you already have 3 subjects, and your math/chem grade are sufficient. It may seem like your overly obsessed with scores, so dont retake them.</p>

actually i was ambivalent about whether i shud do ED in Princeton or Williams.....i am still in a dilemma about that matter....cuz..i really like Willy's swimming facilities.....and i am not 2 confident about getting a fat package from princeton...</p>

<p>I will make my final decision in a few days i guess....</p>

<p>btw..the Princeton application is as hard as dragonballs!! It requires 2 supplementary essays:S</p>
