So what do you all think? Could I be awarded a scholarship? If I need to provide more information, do tell!

You should definitely apply to the Honors College! Your SAT scores indicate that you would be eligible for an Academic Excellence scholarship that would cover the out of state portion of your tuition. The School of Engineering has some awesome scholarship opportunities as well. I would suggest that you begin to be in contact with Mr. Scott Kilpatrick (skilpat@olemiss.edu) about scholarships and that you contact Mr. Ryan Upshaw (rlupshaw@olemiss.edu) about the Honors College.

I believe your SAT converts to an ACT of 33 (do double check this). You will definitely qualify for scholarships. This is a great place to start learning about merit aid at Ole Miss: [The University of Mississippi ? Office of Financial Aid](http://www.olemiss.edu/depts/financial_aid/scholarshiptypes.html)

FWIW, I agree with collegeguider. The Honors College offers amazing opportunities and support for the members! Do check it out.

Thank you both! Since posting this I have applied to the University and am finishing up the special programs and scholarships application. I checked my ACT conversion score and it looks like a 1440-1480 math+critical reading (or a 2140-2210 overall) is a 33. Great!

I’ll contact those that collegeguider mentioned and direct all my questions to them.

Thanks again!
