get some sport and some volunteering/leadership ECs. with your stats, BU and NYU looks like a really good match. georgetown, however, is a bit of a stretch. my friend with 3.9 gpa and 2150 SAT got deferred. it really depends, some of their decisions are random as ****… but hope you get in!

Are you canadian?
And what faculty or school are you interested in applying too for U of T and McGill? Different faculties have different admission standards.

Duke, NYU and Georgetown seem like matches.

No, I’m American. Faculty of Arts for McGill, not sure about U of Toronto… I’ve just started looking into it.

Any other opinions?

Well for mcgill, your ACT is fine, and your GPA is great. What did you get on your SAT IIs?

I would say yes for BU, McGill, Toronto.

NYU–probably.

Georgetown–my hunch is perhaps no.

Duke–my hunch is no.

Try and get your ACT up a point or two. If you could get a 33, then probably all would be yes.

Also, your ECs are not that great compared to some of the super-human stats I see on CC.

Fortunately, I think McGill and Toronto simply go by the numbers.

Let me suggest that you add Emory to the list.

And perhaps USC, Rice, and Vanderbilt.

Haven’t taken my SAT IIs yet… I’m looking to take Spanish at the end of this year (currently sitting around 700, but looking to get that up), and perhaps US History. Maybe French and Lit next year, but we’ll see.

Thanks for all who chanced… any more opinions? Floridadad, what do you think my chances would be for USC?

I’d say your a match for both Mcgill and U of T. Goodluck.
