Schools I am applying to:

Tufts University (top school, not sure about chances)
Boston College
William & Mary
American University
George Washington University
Rutgers University
Brandeis University
Kutztown University
Emory University
Wesleyan University

Can you tell me my chances? Thanks in advance!

forgot to say that im a double legacy at tufts (thank you parents =])

Your couselor is an idiot. I hope that title was just to call attention . . . .

I think you've got a decent shot at Tufts; I think the double legacy will help. I also think you've got a decent shot at all the schools you listed except Brandeis, BC, and Wesleyan.

This looks like a good list with appropropriate safties, matches and reaches. Good luck.

Edit: What I mean with Brandeis, BC and Wesleyan is that I think they're reaches -- but not unreasonable reaches.

I don't buy that your counselor actually said that, so I have to agree with VeryHappy when he says the title was for attention. Anyhoo, I think you're in at all of them, Boston College will be the hardest. Real quick, a 3.875 on a 4.5 scale translates to what on a 4 scale?

no he actually said i have no chance for tufts, bc and brandeis.
its not for attention.. only wish it was.

thanks guys
