With that in mind, will you chance me for:
Stanford
Penn State
Embry Riddle
ASU Barrett
ANY UC school
Ohio State
University of Arizona
Colorado Boulder
Cornell (employee legacy...unsure, depends on if ROTC is included)
Pomona (employee legacy)
George Washington (student legacy)
University of Alabama (student legacy)
University of Connecticut (student legacy)
Northern Arizona University
Oklahoma State University

All except Stanford. Honestly, you’ll be fine…Though your GPA may be a little low, you still have this year to bump it up.
Chance back?

Did you read the list to the end? Am I honestly not a stretch for Cornell?

No. I know a girl who got in Cornell with only a 2000 on the SAT but she had a 4.0 Unweighted. But your ACT makes up for your GPA so I think you’re honestly fine! Just take every AP class possible senior year

Second opinion bump?

You seem to have no specific area in mind for what school you want to go to. Also, they are all large schools. I would highly suggest georgia tech! There engineering program is unmatched and it is fairly easy to get into.

Still bump for second opinion…

Bumpity bumpbumpbump

Badumpbumpbump

First of all, don’t stress over admissions as a junior. I know you are anxious, but don’t worry until next year. Second, your test scores are amazing, but keep up your junior year grades. Remember, if you don’t have an amazing GPA, you still want to be trending upwards (which you are on track to do). It also won’t hurt to take a SATII for a science class.

You should easily get into all of those schools except for Stanford. Cornell and Berkeley are a bit of a stretch as well. Just realize that you probably won’t end up applying to half of those schools because it takes a lot of time and way more money than you think to do so.

I would say you have a really good shot at almost all these schools. Seeing your lower gpa, the only schools that might be reaches are Stanford and U Penn. Good luck and work hard this year!

Just out of curiosity, would it help if I mentioned the incessant bullying problem at my old school (And it’s indirect effect on GPA’s). I had a real tough time there, and administrators did nothing. Kids were giving me death threats, etc…freaky stuff.

That would be something you can write your essay about. Don’t focus on the bullying part, but focus on how you overcame it and how you are now as a result.

@AIM1996 He said Penn State, not UPenn. Much much much different schools.

If you can bump up your gpa a little higher than you’ll have a good shot at most of them. Stanford is the only one that i dont think u will cause they’re really strict with an acceptance rate of 8%

Last bump!

Test scores look great. Keep up with your classes and life’s lookin pretty good for ya!

Chance me back please!

I think you’re okay on all of them except Stanford. Not saying it’s impossible…but it’ll be a reach. It’ll be a reach for anyone applying. Best of luck, man

Junior year grades are the most important because that’s when you take your hardest classes so do well! I would say you have a great shot at all of them except for Stanford (reach), Cornell(low reach) and Pomona(reach) and UCB (low reach). Good luck!

Everything except stanford is a match, Stanford is a reach.
