<p>Hey yall I am a black male from a metro atlanta georgia high school i am entering my junior year. here are my stats so far-</p>

3.760 gpa weighted
3.356 gpa unweighted
184 on psat 62v 62m 60w
Hardest schedule</p>

Kennesaw Youth Council-(youth subsidary of the city council) 2 terms
Honor Roll every semester
French Club
Beta Club</p>

<p>my schedule next year is as follows</p>

<p>First semester
Honors Analysis
Ap Language
AP French
Health/BPE</p>

<p>Second Semester
Honors Physics
Ap World History
Honors Calculus
Gifted Humanities</p>

<p>Also I am going to take the princeton review prep course for the sat</p>

<p>I just wanted to know what i need to do to make my application best for when i apply for notre dame first semester senior year, and also how im looking so far.</p>

<p>I transfered schools this summers but at my old school i was top 22 %</p>

<p>It is a bit hard to say because I am not sure exactly how much having minority status will help. However, my gut says that ND is a stretch right now for you especially because of the GPA and rank. I would really focus on raising your GPA and rank because you still have time and ND looks at trends, so you still can make a difference there. Also, I would study for the SAT because I think you can get a good score based on that PSAT but it may take some studying.</p>

<p>I definitely think you have a shot, but right now I think ND is a reach. However, I think there is a chance that you can really help your chances, so see what you can do! Good luck!</p>
