I will probably write my essays on diabetes
- I am going to be a camp counselor at a diabetes camp this summer. I attended the camp as a child and will be returning as a counselor. This is really exciting and will probably be an essay topic

I can't think of anything else, so what do you guys think?

i meant EA by stanford

Great chances at all those places, Stanford and Cornell are never sure bets.

Nice ACT.

Duke: Reach
Stanford (ED?): Mid reach (It’s single choice early action btw)
University of Michigan: In
UW - Madison: In
UNC Chapel Hill: Match-low reachish
UCLA: In
USC: In
University of Illinois: In
Cornell: Match
Berkeley: Low reach
Northwestern: Reach

Northwestern, Duke, and Stanford are all about mid reaches but they are definitely not impossible and you have a decent shot at all of them. UNC CH is extremely competitive for out of state applicants but you have a solid shot there. Same with Berkeley. I think you have a pretty good shot at cornell too, where the college of engineering is more stat driven, where you excell. But obviously, it can go either way there.

Yes, I would apply Stanford EA and the rest regular. I know Northwestern, Duke, Stanford, Cornell, and Berkeley are probably rolls of the dice. I could probably get into one, right?

Cornell is a bit easier to get into than NU, duke stanford, and berkeley. But maybe. Those are among the most competitive schools in the country. You have a decent shot to all. Meaning that you may get into a few of them, only 1, or denied by all, the last of which is very possible.

You’ve got really good chances at every one of those schools. I wouldn’t be surprised if you got into all of them.
