<p>ill have to agree with dooit. on your scale your a 3 because despite your great class rank, gpa, SAT scores you have to understand most everyone that applies to Stanford have these scores and gpa. your EC's are really eating away at your chances for locking your chances. But dont worry your still very competetive for Stanford, just work on your EC's and you'll be fine</p>
<p>I think you have a great chance at Stanford. Yes, with those EC's, you do sound a bit generic but I'm sure you'll attempt to dress up those EC's on the application. With a great essay and rec's, I think you'll have a really good chance of admittance. I would give you a 3, as well.</p>
<p>The ECs might sound "generic" to our over indulged ears but they are partly what the Stanford folks are going to want to see in my opinion. I believe a mature and original essay would ensure acceptance. Check out my post on Cornell please!</p>
