I am going to take the AMC12/AIME this year

Can someone chance me for Stanford, Caltech, MIT, Harvey Mudd, and the RSI summer program? Suggestions are welcome. Thank you.

Look, if you are 4.0 UW and 2400 SAT, then the only question relates to the ECs--specifically how tough was the courseload and what extra activities are you doing. Obviously AIME is great, as are your soccer activities.

Put a little extra "leadership" into your application to go with what you have so far and you'll be in good shape at all the schools.

Good luck.

Wow, I think you are a pretty strong shot at any school you try to go to. Maybe try something like Student Government.

Thanks for the input. I don't know if I'll be able to do student government because my school is huge(4000) and the elections are popularity contests that are won by cheerleaders and football players. I could probably start an engineering club or something to so that I have two strong examples of leadership. As for course load, I have definitely taken the hardest classes available. If it helps, the high school I go to (Torrey Pines HS) is ranked as one of the top schools in CA. Thanks.

Dude...do what everyone else said and you will have a real shot at wherever. Just stay away from the schools my twin daughters are applying to...you are fearsome competition ;-).
