Chances/Suggestions for an Upcoming Junior

<p>Although i'm only in 10 grade, i'd really like to know my chances at these schools as well as how I can improve. Also any suggestions for schools for me to look at in my junior year would also be appreciated. Thanks a lot.</p>

<p>General info:
Jewish male
Extremely competitive/rigorous high school in Conn.
Around 10-15 kids go to ivies each year
2015 graduation</p>

<p>Weighted gpa:
3.85 out of 4.00 (AP’s and honors don’t count as any more points than reg. courses)-All A’s or A-‘s</p>

<p>Classes:
All high reg. classes except accelerated science
honors english (junior)
honors spanish (junior)
AP Macroeconomics (junior)
AP Environmental Science (junior)
AP Government and Politics (senior)
AP Physics C (senior)
AP Calculus AB (senior): will take pre-calculus course over summer to be able to take AP Calc
AP Spanish language (senior)

<p>Tests:
Took PSAT earlier this year studying and got 169, does not reflect what my true score will be because I did not study or prepare at all
Estimate-2170, give or take some points
760 math
700 critical reading
710 writing
SAT II’s: probably take Math I or II and Chemistry and maybe US History</p>

<p>Extra-curriculars:
Hockey (2 years jv, 2 years v)
Tennis (2 years jv, 2 years v)
Organic garden club (president senior year)
Volunteer at CT NOFA convention
Hebrew school aid-payed
Mitzvah Corps-basically habitat for humanity for my temple

<p>Essays: I am a pretty good writer so they should be pretty good</p>

<p>Major: Somewhere in engineering or applied sciences</p>

<p>There is no point to chance you without real scores. You should try your best no matter what chance you will get. Anyway, you are in the right track.</p>
