Does anyone have any suggestions? especially for my particular major interests?

No doubt UCSD would be the best place to pursue those interests, but your grades may keep you out. You might consider CC and transferring.

Hello Ken,

Thats what I was thinking, at least in reference to UCSD. Funny I haven't heard anything in particular about UCSD, just knew they offered it. But their location sure makes sense.

And a bump to the top!

Their must be more than one person in the know out there! [shameless attempt to satiate curiosity.]

Bumping it up again. C'mon guys! I've gotten a suggestion or two from people to retake the SAT II in lit now that I am in AP Lit. I don't think that will make much of a difference. Should I do that?

UCSD is home to the Scripps Institution, which ties with MIT/WHOI for the best oceanography program in the country (arguably the world). It's only for graduate students, although there are some undergraduate marine science courses offered.

I highly recommend Occidental (in LA). It's rather good in the sciences and offers a concentration in marine biology within the biology major.
