one okay/good teacher rec

In addition, i was born in china, then moved to singapore and lived there for 7 years, and moved to the US when i was 9. I can speak 3 languages, including mandarin and English (both fluently) and learning Spanish in School.

What are my chances for Harvard SCEA, and for other elites, like: YPSMDP, northwestern, WashU...

Also, what are my chances for the Washu Langsdorf fellowship in engineering?

I have taken AP Physics B my Junior year and got an average of 99% (A+) in the class in a pretty competitive public high school.
I also scored a 5 on the test.
I am also an AP Scholar with Distinction.

I have no research experience.

I will also take the AP Physics C exam this year without taking the course because my school does not offer it.
Also, so far, I have a 98% in Calculus BC in my first quarter of Senior year.
Also, I am a NMSF, and my physics teacher will do one of the recs for me.

Thanks

wow, no one?

I just got back the results from SAT II Chinese w/ Listening-800.
(Not Sure if it will help).

Chances?

Can you write in clear detail where is it that you want to apply to? I can't read this YPSMDP, people are abusing the acronym a bit here.

Harvard(SCEA), Penn(M&T, if not Wharton/SEAS), MIT, Duke, Stanford, Northwestern, Washington Univ. in St. Louis. maybe yale or princeton.

Could someone please my chances, please?
My top three colleges are: Stanford, Harvard, and Penn(Fisher).
Then: MIT, Duke, Princeton
Then: Northwestern, Washu, yale.
Lastly: Carnegie mellon, Emory, Case Western, and Ohio State, and Uchicago, and Rice.

bump......

Im assuming that tennis isnt just a mediocre recreational activity, but that ur dedicated

Stanford-slight reach-pretty much nobody is a match
Harvard-slight reach-same as above...but u still have a great chance
Penn-match

MIT-match
Duke-match
Princeton-see harvard...but probably better here than harvard

Northwestern-match
Washu-match
Yale-see harvard

Carnegie Mellon-safe match/safety
Emory-safe match/safety
Case Western-i know nothin bout it
Ohio State-safety
Rice-i dunno much about it but i think its a match/safe match
U of Chicago-match

Basically

no matter what u will be going to world class, great, and prestigious schools

You're a very competitive applicant to those school. Alas, you're still Asian, and your activity put you as one of the "typical" asians who apply. I believe you will get into the majority of the schools you're applying to, and will attend a very prestigious school, I don't know which one though.

No need to apply to so many schools- you will get into more than half of these:

Stanford-a chance
Harvard-a chance
Penn-good chance

MIT-decent chance
Duke-in
Princeton-a chance

Northwestern-in
Washu-waitlisted (they will not buy that you are their first choice)
Yale-a chance

Carnegie Mellon-in
Emory-in
Case Western-in
Ohio State-in
Rice-in
U of Chicago-in with good essay

Your list is too big - do you really like all these schools ? They are so different.

Can someone please help me narrow down to 4-5 schools?:
b/t

UMich
Cornell
Princeton
Rice
Uchicago
Yale
Carnegie Mellon

I like Engineering and Business.

Already applied:
Harvard
Duke
Upenn
WUSTL
Northwestern
Ohio State
MIT
Stanford

Most of top schools do not have business programs - they have econ.
I would leave these:
UMich
Cornell
Carnegie Mellon
Uchicago - very good fundamental education but no engineering (you can do physics, math major, etc.) - best econ program - lacks in social aspect
Princeton

Cut Rice - is well known for architecture but not much else engineering-wise
and Yale
