Application to the business school is during your Sophomore year. You cannot apply directly into the bschool as a high school student. It is a 2 year BBA program.

ooh well if thats true how about just regular admission?

Your chances for regualr decision are excellent. You sound like a good candiddate for the Emory Scholars Program (fairly generous merit scholorship program). You will need to be nominated by your HS counselor and get a special application form. One additional essay is required and you have to file by Nov. 1, I think. But you learn about your status as a semi finalist in mid January. And if you make semi-finalist you are automatically granted admission. This is non-binding for you so it takes some of the pressure off a little earlier. Scholarships range up to full tuition, room, board and expenses plus some other benefits. Well worth the effort if you have an interest in Emory.

hey thanks alot--i actually looked into the scholars program, it seems like a great opportunity. thanks for the heads up

I agree with curious14. I am a student at Emory right now and your chances for regular decision ARE excellent. The business school at Emory is not hard to get into once you get into Emory. However, you have to fulfill prerequisites before applying for the B school. Good luck to you.

go for it. u have a decent chance
