UCB - slight reach
UCLA - slight reach

UCSB - match- safe match
USC - slight reach-reach

your all set if you raise your SAT above 2000 then the whole scheme will change seriously lol... this next SAT will determine your future so sleep well : ) If you got 2000+ then, even 2100+ then,

UCB - match (maybe) lol i hate maybes sorry though
UCLA - match
UCSD - safe match
UCSB - safety
USC - match?

Since pre-dentisty, I would go to UOP though -_- Or find some dentistry programs

But even right now WITH the 1880, it's a match right?

For Ucsd ^^^

no.......maybe for ucsb though.

how is that possible?

SAT of 1880 and GPA of 4.125 ISNT GOOD ENOUGH FOR UCSD!?

thegame2388:

UCB/UCLA: Slight Reach
UCSD: Match
UCSB: Safe Match

UCB= Reach
UCSD= slight reach/match
UCSB/SC= safety

Here's a link that will allow you to compare your scores to the average acceptances at UCLA this year.

http://newsroom.ucla.edu/page.asp?RelNum=6980

Note that the average person accepted took 19 honors classes and had an average weighted GPA of 4.27, a SAT CR of 658, SAT Math of 685, and SAT Writing of 665, along with SAT achievement tests in the 680-735 range.

Also, since they like to balance Asians and Caucasians with minorities besides Asian, you'll need higher numbers than this if you are Asian or Caucasian and slightly less if you are a different minority group. And if you want to be admitted early, your numbers will, of course, have to be better than the averages.

Lastly, anything you can do to stand out makes a difference--did you win a national science competition, a regional math contest, work overseas in the Peace Corps during the summer, etc.?

Good luck!

Can you give me an "acceptable" GPA and SAT score for UCLA/UCSD?

UCLA:

Acceptable weighted GPA: 4.25
Acceptable SAT I score: 2100

UCSD:

Acceptable weighted GPA: 4.00
Acceptable SAT I score: 2000

I'm an extremely bright student...I just...don't DO WELL on these tests. I just took a practice SAT II US and got a 580 AND I KNOW SO MUCH! ***
