Chances to become a Cane??

I am from Long Island, NY and want to attend Miami as a buisness major. My grades from freshman and sophmore year were:

Freshman-3.4 GPA (89%)
Sophmore-3.3 GPA (88%)...in the 4th quarter now and am getting that or even better.

My Regents grades were:

Math-89
Earth Science-90
Im taking Living Enviroment (expecting 85+), Global (expecting 90+), and Spanish (expecting 80+)

Next Year I am taking Sports Marketing/Management College Credit (I want to be a sports agent).

Other info that I'm not sure is relevant: I'm Jewish, I play 2 sports out of school: Ice Hockey and Baseball. I play one sport in school and out of school: Soccer. My parents are self employed.

University of Miami statistics found online:

entering business students:
Average 1258

Range (Middle 80%) From 1180 to 1350
Minimum SAT Score 1000

ACT Scores for full-time entering business students:
Average 27.7
Median
Range (Middle 80%) From 26 to 30
Minimum ACT Score 24

Minimum High School GPA 3.30
Does the school require an entrance exam? No

All help is appriciated, thank you.

interesting... you give your GPA but no SAT so how the hell is someone suppose to chance you....?

He's only a sophomore, so he probably hasn't taken the SATs yet.

I'm saying that if you can get your UW GPA up to around 3.50 to 3.55 minimum from this point on you would have a good chance. Also, you will need a SAT score of about 1290/1600 to make up for the slightly lower GPA, (that is, for having a GPA below 3.5 in the first two years of high school). You should also plan to take at least two year-long AP courses in your junior year of high school
