<p>Hey everyone I'm an Asian-American applicant from Ohio (Not international), What are my chances to the CoE?</p>

<p>ACT Score-33, retaking in Sept
SAT Subject Tests- Not taken yet, expecting good scores
Curriculum- Hardest in my school, All AP's and two independent studies (Stats and Astrophysics)

4 years of Academic Quiz Team, NAQT Finals Invitee, 4x Area Champs, Multiple Tournaments Won (Science and Math as specialty)
3 Years of Varsity Tennis, Team Leader
4 Years of Chess Club, Local Champion
Helped to build giant K'NEX Roller coaster (over 30 feet), as Head Engineer</p>

<p>I also shadowed an Engineer at Emerson-Copeland and researched compressors and their controls. Planning on doing a couple more research projects as well</p>

<p>One last note, my school is very poor and offers little opportunity, so I am trying to make the best of it.</p>

<p>btw whats ur uscf. if its high enough you might wanna broaden your horizons to many schools and apply to a lot so you have many options. in my experience duke for some reason really likes chess players dunno why…</p>

<p>Well to be completely honest, I’ve seen people with higher test scores get rejected, and since I was OOS I wasn’t sure…</p>

<p>I wish I could tell you to apply regular instead of early because you’re my competition. youre definitely going to get in, early or not…& I’m OOS too.</p>

<p>Also, I am not sure why you would listen to the opinion of other high schoolers trying to get in about whether or not you’d get in.</p>

<p>Hell, why even listen to me? I’d trust me more than them but not as much as Alexandre or anything.</p>

<p>Why even bother to do a chance me thread? Is there anything we could say that would cause you to not apply?</p>
