Chances to Follow A Dream (AKA, NYU)

Hey! My names Steph, your not-so-average NYU applicant. I'm applying to Tisch, I'm applying with the fact that I have ADD, and Im applying with the fact that I have an OCD related disorder that caused a major dip in my grades. This is outlined in my essay.

NYU has been my dream school since about 7th grade. Im all applied, soon to be auditioned, and scared outta my mind. Why? I know, academicaly, its a HUGE reach. I'm hoping talent will help me through. And yes, my EC list is a mile long. Sorry about that.

"I'm applying with the fact that I have ADD, and Im applying with the fact that I have an OCD related disorder that caused a major dip in my grades."

Do you really think this will increase your chances?
If so, I should do the same thing... I have OCD and some other stuff too.
Do you get extra time on your SAT's? This is another thing I probably should have applied for, but did not have the time to do it. Oh well... I too am applying to NYU as one of my top choices. However, I am applying to CAS. 3.75 2100.

Your SAT's are below average for the school and so is your GPA(I think, I am not totally sure what constitutes an "academic course". Are electives like Comp. Science included in the "academic" GPA).

With all of that said, your scores are close enough that you have a shot. A lot will depend on your audition.
