Chances to get accepted into Exeter? (Late applicant)

Exeter already has a vast pool of Wait-Listed applicants. Even from the small sample of kids who posted their admissions results online, you can do the math and see that there are a very, very, very large number of kids on Exeter’s WL:

A lot of these WL kids also do not need FA. All of these WL kids are smart/talented/athletic. And all of these WL kids also submitted their application on time.

As a late applicant, you will be, at best, be joining the WL pool. The school might let you cut the line if you have some absolutely incredible attribute to offer the school (e.g. your wealthy family will donate a building, you are an Olympic-level swimer, you are the kid of a governor/president/world leader). Just being an excellent student is not enough to get you in, at this late stage of the game.
