<p>Hey guys I applied to slo for early decision heres my stats</p>
<p>major:Industrial engineering
SAT:2000 (1370 out of 1600)
ACT:31
GPA:3.96</p>
<p>APs:6(wold history, us history, pre calc, physics, computer science, calculous bc)
honors:4(english 9, geometry, english 10, algebra 2)
I also took (intro to engineering design, and principles of engineering) as electives
Also, I took (English 100) at a community college and got an A</p>
<p>I have about 10 hours of work experience a week
I have 13 hours of extra curricular a week</p>
<p>Cal Poly doesn’t really look at extra curricular activities. However, I like your chances because I live with an IE major who got in with a 3.7 GPA and a similar test score.</p>
<p>it might be 50/50 because every year, the standards are increasing, and its getting tougher. expect the average gpa to be higher than 4.1, and the average act score to be around 32-33. i hope you get in!</p>
<p>edit: I’ve also heard that industrial engineering is one of the easier majors, so you will have a better chance to get in!</p>

One thing im banking on is that I applied early decision…
I know that the early decision applicants are compared agains last years applicants instead of this years so that will make it a little better I think.</p>
