Chances to get into Berkeley?

<p>Can someone look at my chances for getting into Berkeley this fall?</p>

<p>I live close to Berkeley.</p>

<p>GPA:</p>

<p>weighted: about 4.3-4.4 (Added 1 point for APs and Honors)
unweighted: about 3.94</p>

<p>SAT scores:
1900 first time without studying;
Planning to go for 2200 this Oct because of hard summer preparation</p>

<p>Subject Tests:
Chem:740
US History:640
MAth 11C: This December, going for over 700.</p>

<p>Extra Curriculars:</p>

<p>-Training for Black Belt in Martial Arts, 4 years experience.
-2 years Varsity Tennis
-Was a member of freshman Basketball team, but had to quit for time reasons (does that count?)
-Volunteer at Hospital
-Volunteer at a private Doctor's Clinic
-Volunteer at Comcast TV Center
-After School tutor </p>

<p>Clubs:
-VP of one club
-Publicity Officer for Interact club
-Project 540 member
-Leadership Club Member
-CSF Club Member</p>

<p>Our school doesnt offer many APs:</p>

<p>Chemistry: 5
Language: 2
US History: 4</p>

<p>Taking English AP and Bio AP this year.</p>

<p>Your GPA is good, but SATs are lacking.</p>

<p>Leave out basketball completely. It shows a lack of commitment, no matter the reason. Remember quality is better than quantity.</p>

<p>Thats what I was thinking too, that i should leave out basketball. What else do I need to improve?</p>

<p>Just improve your SATs and also your SAT IIs and you should have a pretty good chance. Good luck.</p>
