Chances to get into penn next year?

Sorry about asking so early in advance. I’m just very anxious for college and am worried that my stats are not strong enough. I’m a junior in high school

Asian male
Very competitive public school in Northwest (ranked top 30 this year nationwide based on APs)
GPA: 4.0 UW
W - unknown
Rank: 3 of 450
SAT I: not taken, but expecting 2250+
SAT II: Chinese - expecting 750
Math IIC - expecting 800
US History - expecting 780
Biology - expecting 780
AP Scores: 5 on World History; 5 on Calc AB; 4 on Physics B
Taking 6 APs this year: US, English Language, Calc BC, Physics C, Spanish, Computer Science A
Taking 5-6 APs next year
This makes a total of 16-17 AP classes throughout high school

Extracurricular (my weak spot):
I quickly drafted this in a few minutes time, so it is very undetailed, rough, and lacking in certain areas

Crosscountry (10-12)
Track and Field (10-12)
Table tennis national rating of 690+, played in some major local tourneys
NHS (10-12)
Key Club (9-12) – raise much money for cancer
Level 5 piano (by this british system)
Level 5 music theory (by same system)
Orchestra (9-12)
Honors Orchestra program (12)
Class secretary (11)
Ebay profit from buying/selling (don’t know if this counts?)
Volunteering at Northwest Chinese School summer program (9-10) for total of 150+ hours

Future ECs (hopefully):
Another position in class government
Seattle Youth Symphony
Starting an automotive club at our school
Other clubs (any suggestions?)

I’m sorry for such an early and unsure “transcript”. I’m just curious as to how my chances are as of now, and what I should improve on?
I’m thinking that my main weakness is my EC, since my grades/scores pronounce that I’m a typical asian student.

Thanks so much for taking the time to read this

Starting ECs now won't help. The ebay one doesnt' count unless you made HUGE profits and if you have awards for your ECs, they'll be strong ECs.
If you have such high academic and test scores, just write a really good essay and you'll get in.

thanks for the reply

are those academics/test scores strong enough to get me into the school though? I feel like they are barely average in such a strong environment such as Penn.

Also, couldn't I strengthen a few ECs from now until college? Maybe even start a club

Commitment and Leadership is what they look for. Although you will be the president of your club, they'll see that you just started it so it doesn't commitment. The truth about ECs is that adcoms want to see you start a club because you solely enjoy it and not start it because you want to get in. I haven't applied yet but i bet they can see through it.

About your academic, its really good but remember its only part of it. So the best thing for you to do is to BUILD ON YOUR CURRENT ECS, WRITE AN ESSAY THAT STAND OUT.

ps: I am asian too and its true that typical asians don't do ECs. I think asians are stereotyped as being academically broight so you have to stand out from other asians as 14% of Undergrad are asians!

I hope this helps.
