If you are a New York state resident applying to the ag school, you are in. Even if you are not a resident of New York, your chances are well above average.

It's that easy for Cornell...?

Yes, if you want to call that "easy". The Ag school is state supported so it is even "easier" for New York state residents. A 1450/1600 SAT is quite impressive. Two years ago Cornell's mid-range SATs were 1290-1490 on a 1600 scale. This included both residents and non-residents accepted to all of Cornell's schools. The OP is a very good candidate for all of the lower tier Ivy League schools based just on the posted profile.

wow thanks icy9ff8!

97 weighted = 4.2 weighted = 3.8 unweighted GPA if took 9 AP courses
SAT I scores: 1450/1600 (average 725)--about 96% level
SAT II scores: (Cornell counts two of these) 740 & 720 = 1460/1600 (about 97% level)
plus One parent legacy

How is exactly is that so easy, Castel?

uh castell that is completely not true....

how are your recs/essays/reason on the essay for applying to Ag? yes part of the school is NY state but that doesn't make it THAT much easier to get into... legacy will help though
