Chances to Tepper RD?

<p>Hey, I am wondering what all yall think about my chances to tepper. i'm hoping this school is a match for me, im interested in going into finance</p>

<p>sats: 2090 ( 1400 math and cr)
sat II's: bleh 740 math 660 u.s
act: 31 ( dont know if they should be sent)
gpa: 96/100
courseload: 12 ap classes, all rest honors basically ( much more than anyone else in my grade)
rank: no rank
location: long island, white</p>

<p>ecs( just the most important)</p>

<p>senior class president
national honor society president
wall street investors club president
spanish honor society president
editor for newspaper ( not main editor)
comittee position in model un club
captain of economics competition team</p>

<p>bunch of honors ' best business student in school' but nothing really special</p>

<p>started my own record company. i manage some local bands, work on their album, pressing, promotion and such as well as myself i am a musician ( hip hop blah if u dont like it haha) so i'll be sending in some music of my own</p>

<p>I'm applying to Tepper as well with similar stats but slightly higher SATs (I: 800, 700, 740, II: 800, 800, 780), but slightly less ECs. I <em>think</em> we have a decent shot...</p>

<p>Anybody know how competitive the school is in terms of the number of applicants and acceptances? Average SAT scores, etc.?</p>

<p>oh my bad...I thought that was for Carnegie Mellon overall. I think your chances aren't bad, but then again I don't really know how competitive Tepper is. However, your ECs look great and I think those would make you shine. Best of luck to you.</p>

<p>Tepper's top ten in business, so it's fairly competitve. But your numbers are about average so you have as good a shot as anyone. good luck to you!</p>
