Chances to Transfer to BU After My First Semester...

I'm at RIT, and after my first "trimester" here, would I have a decent shot at transferring to BU (CAS) given the following stats:

3.25 HS GPA
Quite a few HS ECs, including student government
SAT: 1200 old/ 1780 new; I know it's low, I plan on retaking these and am almost positive I will get at least 100 points higher or take the ACT and get between 29-31.
3.5 College GPA

Anyone have an idea what the average stats of an accepted BU transfer are?

Hope this helps.

Yeah, it definitely helps, but I would that GPA after one trimester still be enough given my high school record?

Also, would transferring from a quarter system to semester system be difficult for midyear, and is such a thing common and even acceptable at BU?

Sorry, reading this thread got me thinking.

BU’s overall acceptance rate is 58%, but they only admitted about 33% of transfers, are transfer applicants, specifically sophmore transfers, judged more harshly simply because they’re coming from another school?

I doubt it, the lower acceptance rate is most likely due to the fact that BU is a very popular school, especially for Massachusetts students. Because of this, a lot of people who are unqualified apply as transfers from CCs with lower GPAs and hope to get in, but a lot probably don’t.
