UVA and W&M are similar in admissions. GPAs are very similar, UVA is somewhat higher in class rank (% in top 10% – although only about 30% or so now submit rank), and W&M is bit higher on SAT vs UVA College of Arts and Sciences in data I saw (Engineering at UVA now has higher average SAT than W&M and UVA Arts and Sciences). Both schools are probably a bit easier for males, perhaps more so at W&M ( they both are now about 56%/44% M/F).

If I take the SAT multiple times, how will colleges like UVA and William and Mary look at my scores?

I’ve been thinking about this again recently. I know its not about taking as many ap classes as you can, but I will have taken 12 ap classes and another class at a local college before I actually attend an actual university. I have not been able to make big progress on my sat score. Also, I am planning on majoring in Math and doing pre-med courses to go to med school afterwards.

I had a question. If a teacher who went to UVA writes a recommendation, would that help my chances of getting into UVA?

Also, anyone else wants to chance me?
