<p>I know 2 kids from my school that got into Yale with 3.3 weighted and 1100 SAT because they were recruited for football. The athletic double standard really annoys me.</p>
<p>4.75 is great, the SAT is a little low for Yale, but you should have a decent chance.</p>
<p>umm. i'm sorry but she isn't Asian. Actually, she's an international student from Canada (Quebec, as for the French thing..) so does that put her to an advantage?</p>
<p>Well it's probably better than being one of thousands of violin playing Asian applicants with an 800 on the Chinese SATII. But Yale is still a big reach.</p>

I am Asian by the way, and don't mind applying to some Ivy league schools either but what constitutes a non-stereotypically Asian EC? Does student council look good?</p>
