Please tell me my chances of getting in these schools. Please also suggest any other schools that I would be suited for too. Note: I know that I'm not a stellar candidate for these colleges like these other CC people...so don't be too harsh.

Thanks

i would say two things.

1) your SATs would really need to come up slightly. especially in CR because you really need to break 700 to get into the top tier of schools.

2) take care in signing up for so many AP classes! there are a lot of things to be worrying about senior year and signing up for 5 AP classes seems like a lot to me. i took 4 for both junior and senior years and that was about as much as anyone at my school ever handles. colleges want to know that you are challenging yourself but make sure that you aren't just taking these classes because they look like hard ones on paper. remember that technically most college students at top schools take only 3 to 4 classes per term and you are trying to take 5 (supposedly) "college level" courses in high school. you don't need to be pulling your hair out as you try to maintain the grades you need for schools like this with such a tough course load while applying to colleges and believe me you won't want to keep working that hard once applications are in!

good luck with the process, don't be too hard on yourself, and try not to compare yourself to others too much... the whole college acceptance process is random and unpredictable...

thanks for comments

what colleges should i apply to?

(and i plan on taking SAT again...i only took it once so far)

**whoops my ACT scores is not 31...it's 30 (typo on above)

You're weighted GPA is pretty impressive....

so many APs?wow...

honestly, the #1 in my class right now is taking a LOT more AP classes than I am.

well...what are my chances?

*please suggest good colleges for me if you can.

you pretty much know where you wanna go...your in at UNC so consider that a back up for now..other then that...i would say with a 2200 SAT score..your in at most top tier colleges..work hard..and good luck

Like others have said, bring up your SAT score especially in criticial reading...then you might have a chance at the Ivies and other top schools.

thanks for the input

i will take the SAT again. hopefully, my critical reading score will be higher.

but in the end, i'm probably not going to put all my hopes into the Ivies.

i'm leaning toward Hopkins, Emory, & Washington State at St. Louis
