I am an Asian male, I know that puts me at a disadvantage.

The usual Asian package:
SAT: 2340 (CR:800, Math: 770, Writing: 770)
SAT II: US:780, Math II: 780, Chem: 790
Rank: 1
Grades: My school does not do a 4.0, we do it off a 100 scale; I have basically 100 in every class without weights.
Classes: I took the most rigorous schedule possible in my school. Took every AP offered except Art, Music Theory, Computer Science. Not because I wanted to look good to colleges but believe it or not, I genuinely do love learning.
National Merit Semifinalist (in the running for finalist)

Leadership:
President of National Honor Society (12th)
President of the Debate Team (11th, 12th)
Student Government: Junior Class Officer (11th), Student Government Leader (12th)
Lead Attorney of Mock Trial Team (11th, 12th)

My Passion:
Debate. I don't have a coach or team, I have worked like crazy to even be on par with students from other schools. I won a national tournament (UPenn) last year. My personal essay is on this.

Extracurriculars:
Debate - see above
Mock Trial - see above
Violin - made it the Regional Orchestra, not State though :(
Tennis (varsity) - I love this sport to death, I might be more athletic than academic
Hospital Volunteer - I have over 300+ hours of volunteer work
Van Heusen Sales Associate - I sell nice clothes to people
Kimmel Cancer Center Research Intern - spent a summer doing research work, learning about cancer biology, co-author of a manuscript which is in preparation.

Other things to know about me:
I am a very real person. I only say this about because of the usual stereotypes applied to Asian males. I fit easily into social settings, love my girlfriend who is a freshman NYU, love my family. I want to grow up not only to be successful but genuinely want to make a difference in the world (I aspire to become a doctor). Also I want to be a great father, seriously. My supplemental essay reflects all of this strongly.

I hope that I am not simply another Asian male. I have not attempted to live my life separating myself from this stereotype, instead I live my life doing what I love.

Chance me please (Ivies or Ivy level schools)
