Hey everyone, i am currently a junior in college, and i want to transfer into umd next fall.
i already filled out my application and sumbited and everything, and wanted to know if i had a good chance of getting in.
I am currently a bio major but i want to do chemical eingeering, as i stated in my app.
I currently have a 3.597 GPA, receieved 2 C's, one in trig and the other in physics I
and i have about 86 credits.
i have good EC's and activites and all, so do i have a good chance?

I don’t know what umd is or where it is located but if you got Cs in Trigonometry and Physics I really do not see you getting accepted into a Chemical Engineering program unless you meant UC Merced where it is possible for just about anybody to get accepted into just about anything.

Do you mean the University of Maryland? I’d recommend you take your thread somewhere else. This is the University of California transfer board.

Anyway, I second Lemaitre’s alarm at your grades in trig and physics considering your intended field. I’m not in a position to judge, but I can say that if you know the material at a C-level, you’ll likely struggle in the future.
