I am currently a sophomore in UMASS Lowell. I transferred here Fall of 2013 from MCC with a 3.2 GPA overall.
My first semester at UML I got a 2.85 because I was taking a honors psychology class and it was a bit challenging considering I am a business major.

E/C: In MCC, I was the Vice-President for the Student Government and a member of the activities crew. I also worked 2 part time jobs.
In UMASS Lowell, I am currently part of the Student Government as a Senator, I am the Events Coordinator for ALPFA (which is a well know organization at Bentley), member of the Latin American Student Organization, and I am also part of a leadership program. Last semester, I had an internship with MASSPirg. I work a part time job as well.

For my recommendations, my financial accounting professor (who is a Bentley Grad) from last semester will write a letter for me as well as my English Composition 1 professor from MCC.

I graduated HS with a 2.6 but I took honors and AP classes, I was # 31/103 class rank.

The reasons I am so afraid it is because I received a “W” in my precalculus class last semester due to a disability. I was diagnosed with ADD and I just started treatment about 1 month ago. However, this semester I got a 95 on my first exam and I know I will ace the class. I was at a Bentley Info session and I had the change to talk with one of the faculty in charge of transfer students and I explained my situation and she said if I say I had a disability on the application, my past performance will not be as important.

I hope to get some feedback, thanks!
