Currently a sophomore at RPI..got rejected from Union twice haha, once during senior year of high school and then I applied to transfer there from penn state last year and got rejected again. Got accepted to RPI second semester last year and am I'm still currently a student at RPI. Thinking about giving Union one last chance, cannot stand RPI. Third times a charm right? What are the chances of me getting in and what can I do to improve my chances?

Just curious eag5186. Why don’t you like RPI?

Well I am a business major here at RPI, and although the business program here is very well known, I see myself pursuing a career in several of the majors offered at Union. My professors are very knowledgeable and a degree from RPI would definitely benefit me, but the classes that I have been taking do not interest me. Socially, I feel as if I don’t fit in at RPI. You have your jocks and you have your “nerds.” I see myself as easy to get along with and I do not judge people. However, it’s hard to fit in when your caught in the middle of the two. I’ve visited Union several times and I love the atmosphere and school spirit.

Thanks for your input. I figured if you came from Penn state to RPI you might have been an engineering major. That is obviously the strongest area at RPI. Good luck to you. I hope you get in to Union.
