I am about to finish my first semester at a California Community College and I am applying to SC as a sophmore. I am wondering what the chances are of getting in. Here are my stats:

I will only be applying with 14 college semester units. So they will be primarily looking at my high school record. I have an overall G.P.A. of 3.2 at my high school. My SATs i got a 1230. My SAT2s are MATH 1C = 740, WRITING = 580, U.S. History = 530. ACTs I recieved a 27. I am expecting a 4.0 G.P.A. for my 14 units that I am currently taking. I am going to be working with a counselor for my essays, so my essays should be strong. Oh and my mother went to USC (if that helps).

What are my chances of getting in?

Also, is it smarter to apply "Undecided" or "Bio-medical engineering"?

Call admissions. Email me and I will dig up the details for Scion transfers. I used to have a phone number that was to no one in particular but it might shorten the hold they gave it to family rejects last yr. You need to contact them and tell them how much you love them. Sit down with them and have them tell you what you need to be accepted. Your HS stuff isn't in their stats but your 4.0 is enough for the transfers of family. Ask them about the major vs undecided. Good luck.
