<p>Well I'm certainly rooting for you on UCLA because I also want to be an engineer there...however my app is alot like yours...strong gpa and good extracurriculars and such...but unfortunately I think our SAT scores are too low :( for engineering anyways because they really look at that at HSSEAS. I saw that the average SAT score of an admitted engineering major there was 2130 and they dont like anything below that. Otherwise looks good keep up the good work.</p>
<p>Well its just that I feel cheated out of admissions because of a "low" score. Obviously 1970 is terrific its like the UCLA average which is also great but HSSEAS really is stubborn in looking at those scores sooo much. If you havent already check out the post from a UCLA engineering major...</p>
<p>I think it depends a lot on whether you expressed enthusiasm/motivation for learning in your area of study. Which major did you want to pursue a UCLA?</p>
