Chances @ UC's and SDSU

This is a hypothetical question since I’m only a sophomore.

4.00 UC GPA
PSAT predicted around 1880
(14 Semesters) of Honors and AP Classes
EC’s - Tennis, Cross Country, Relay 4 Life, Sign Language Club, Vice President of CSF, Vice President of Key Club, Treasurer of Volleyball Club, Journalism, Recycling Club

Interested in UCLA, UCSD, UCSB, UCI, and SDSU

a 1880 and 3.0 should get you into sdsu, so dont even worry about that place. i think you can get into ucsb and irvine also. probably not ucla and you have a chance at ucsd.

i GOT INTO UCI, UCSD, UCR, CAL POLY SLO, SDSU with a 3.3 W and a 1970. I first time I took the SAT I only got a 1840... so don't stress :-).

sdsu - safety
uci - good match
ucsb - good match
ucsd - reach
ucla - Reach

Hey
Right now I'm a junior but just out of curiousity what does it take to get into UCB and UCLA? What looks good

3.8+ unweighted GPA
2100+ SAT score
780+ SAT II score (x2)
30+ ACT score
a few AP test scores 4+

eh, one varsity sport
a few office positions
kickass essays,

and you should get in

^^ all that is only necessary for UCLA and Berkeley.

I got into Davis, SC, SB, and SD with:
3.85 GPA
1990 SAT
600 SAT II Spanish w/ Listening, 690 SAT II Math Level 2

EC: Varsity Cross Country and Varsity track (state champs in track last year)
Members of key club, mua alpha theta, ski/snowboard club, guitar club, ping pong club, smart grad club, cybercorp (computer technicians for school), quite a bit of community service and work experience

Awards: Varsity letter (and white letter for four years of varsity), scholar athlete award, Nevada All State Academic team induction, Business student of the month.

I applied to 5 UC's, and only LA rejected. But keep in mind I'm also out-of-state, so if I had that stuff and got into D, SC, SB, and SD, as a California resident you should be alright with what you've got =)

UCLA: Reach
UCSD: Slight Reach/Match
UCSB/UCI: Match
SDSU: Safety
