GPA : Unweighted - 3.56 UC - 3.63 Weighted - 4.31
How did ur gpa go from that to so much higher weighted? You know that UC’s only award eight extra points right? I don’t think that’s possible.

Yea… That confuses me. Did you take something like 15 APs and IBs? Because you have taken only 7 tests.

Aside from that…
Berkeley -Reach (very big reach if engineering)
LA - High match/low reach
Irvine - Match
San Diego - Match
Santa Barbara - In

thx for the feedback
i realize they only award 8 more points, that’s why my unweighted is 3.56 and uc is 3.63
my weighted is 4.31 because i have only taken health, 3 pe, and now anatomy that are non-honors classes (cept spanish is also non-honors and i took two years Spanish 2/3 then ap spanish)
i’ve taken a total of 5 ap classes (0 this year but taking the AP Lit test) but this year is majority IB (needed for IB tests).

if it helps
Fresh year - All A’s 4.67 GPA
Soph - 4 A’s 2 B’s 4.33 GPA then 4 A’s 1 B 1 C (Euro sucked for me being my first AP class). so 4.17.
Junior - (took 4 AP’s + baseball/IB LA and 0 period ToK (weighted class)
Was 4.00 GPA both semesters (the first semester of the year i had somewhat of a hardship and i’d rather not talk about it) 3 A’s 2 B’s 2 C’s (history and LA my suckiest subjects) both semesters all weighted

also after rereading your question again, my unweighted gpa is 3.56 my weighted (taking into acct honors, ap, ib giving you one more point) is 4.31, my UC gpa is 3.63

Berkley-reach
LA-High match
Don’t know about the rest

Berkeley- Low to Mid Reach, Its possible

LA- Same as above

Irvine- Match

San Diego- Pretty sure you’re in

Santa Barbara- Match

Your SAT scores and GPA pull a lot more weight than EC’s at the UCs, but if you have stellar essays, it should help out, Your GPA is low for Berkeley/LA/SD, but focus on those essays, and best of luck!

Mind chancing back?

Berkeley: High Reach

LA: High Reach

Irvine: Match

San Diego: Reach

Santa Barbara: In

Write good essays. Also, depends on major you pick.

Berkeley: reach

LA: match

Irvine: match

San Diego: low match

Santa Barbara: low mtatch

thx for the feedback guys
anyone else have any input?
my intended major is mechanical engineering and i know its impacted af =/
ill chance back :]

I don’t know about Berkeley and UCLA, but the rest seem like matches. Admissions would notice that you’re into math, and it helps that you’re majoring in engineering.

UCSD-Match
UCB/UCLA-Low Reach
Everywhere else-in.

thx guys for the feedback!
anyone else’s opinion?
ill chance back!
