Chances @ UCSD, UCI, UCR or any other UC schools

-Rising senior (bilingual asian female) from Washington
-4A High school in a suburban area
-Interested in medical field

GPA: 3.78 (unweighted)
Class rank: top 15 or 20%
SAT: 1st-1510
**Scores will surely improve to near 2200s (min 1900s)
SAT II: US History 530

APs:
5 or 6 total depending on my senior schedule. I bombed exams for the only two I took during my junior year (Lit and US) but I will get 4s this year.

Volunteer work:
-Elementary School (max 50hr)- Organize and prepare materials for next day's lesson. Also, when necessary work with students.
-Piano accompaniment for Sunday services (max 10hr)- Play hymnals during Sunday services. It would count as volunteer work right? Regardless of religious affiliation, I voluntarily did it.
-Local art museum- just got accepted so I'll complete a minimum of 40 hours.
-Also, I've done many other volunteer works but, they were just one time things. Do admission officers like to see this kind of volunteer work?? Or do they prefer dedication at a single place?

ECs:
National Honor Society- all four years
Key Club- all four years
World Affairs Club- 11, 12
FBLA- 11, 12
Letterman Varsity Tennis- 10, 11, 12 (Most Improved Award)
Church Youth Group- all four years (served as Secretary, VP,and President)

Even though I wasn't able to serve as officer for many of the clubs, are the EC's good enough?

These are all I can think of, but please give harsh honest answers because I really want to know if I will get accepted to BU. If there are last minute things I can do to increase my chances of getting accepted please do tell me. I am willing to do all I can. Thanks in advance!

which UC school am I most likely to get into? if any

As an out of state student, it will be difficult to get into any of the UCs – you have to be a top top student to get into even the mid-tier or lower-tier UCs. You may be able to get into Santa Barbara and Riverside, possibly Irvine. San Diego, UCLA, Berkeley will definitely be reaches.

i think maybe you should improve your grades and UCLA, UCB might be yours

and chance me back please~

If you can actually get you SAT to what you want then all of them but no one raises them that many points sorry it just doesn’t happen

I don’t think you have a good chance of getting into top and mid-tier uc’s. You could probably get into riverside, and maybe santa cruz if you greatly improve your scores, but not much beyond that. However, there certainly have to be better schools in your native state than the lower-tier uc’s, somewhere where you wouldn’t have to pay out of state tuition. Right now, your sole focus needs to be improving your sat and sat subject scores. If you can do this, you should just apply and see what happens. Best of luck.

if you can improve your sat scores to the 2000s then you have a good chance at all the UC’s, berkeley being the hardest
