Chances UIUC, purdue, u of washington-seattle and georgia tech (engineering)

Hi! I'm going to be a senior this fall, and I am very intrigued as to what colleges I could hope to get into.

I'm extremely interested in majoring in computer science. Stanford offers some of their CS lectures on-line (Check 'em out! They're awesome: Stanford School of Engineering - Stanford Engineering Everywhere ) and I started working on them before I was able to take AP CS at school. I plan on continuing to learn more about programming this summer and next year, and writing a program with my friend who finished AP CS.

I have a 3.87 GPA (uw) and a 4.67 weighted (my school only reports weighted on transcript). I'm going to be taking these AP classes next year: calc ab, stats, lit & comp and physics c. I have already taken AP psych (5) lang and & comp (4). I took the ACT beginning of sophomore year and got a 31 composite, I took it this spring, latest time you could, and moved. Scores might've gotten lost in the mail OR they didn't send them yet.

EC's: I am involved in MMA fighting (it's pretty awesome), founder and president of an improv comedy club that meets in local bars, I ran the chicago marathon for charity (even though running stinks), I'm very involved in my church and am part of the student leadership team (so obviously I've done the mission trip thing) and that's it! (plus those Stanford lectures, I don't know if those count....)

Anything else: I live in Illinois, helps for price at UIUC.

So my main question is, will I get into the colleges listed in the title? (here again: UIUC, purdue, u of washington-seattle and georgia tech) But more specifically, do you think I would be direct-admitted to their respective engineering/CompSci colleges? (and humor me: how badly would I be rejected by Stanford?)

Thanks for all the help, if any other info is needed or wanted, I'd love to share.

You shouldn’t count on Stanford, it’s one of the lottery schools. You should have a good shot at UIUC, Purdue.

Stanford wasn’t really a school that I really expected to get in to. Any one else have any input on u washington or Georgia tech?

Based on this from the U washington website:

High School GPA (Middle 50%), Autumn 2011
3.64-3.92

Test Scores (Middle 50%), Autumn 2011
SAT
Critical Reading 510-650
Math 570-700
Writing 520-640

ACT
Composite 24-30
English 24-30
Math 25-31

…I’d say you have a very good shot.

GTech - Match
UIUC - Safety
Purdue - in
Washington - in
Stanford - reach

Thanks for all the replies everybody. I’ll take another look at the campuses and see which one I like best.
