Chances UNC?

Hello! Kind of on pins and needles about the decisions coming out!
OOS unfortunately ):
GPA: Unweighted 3.8, Weighted 4.3 (highest at my school is a 4.5)
2160 on SAT, very rigorous course schedule (10APs)
Essays and recs were excellent
ECs are my strong point: many different leadership activities, including starting my own non profit organization based in Tanzania (I run the logistics side of it entirely on my own)

Any comments?

Hate to bump it, but…

bumpbumpbump

UNC: Reach (you may as well be applying at Duke but both UNC and Duke are reachable)

Have a safety?

I can’t comment! You have a superb record! I am sure you will get into UNC just fine. :)

Thank you both for input!

Any more input is greatly appreciated!

If you can convince the adcom of the quality of your ECs, UNCCH might come down to a high match.

I’m Editor in chief of the school newspaper, Section Leader for the clarinet section in marching band which is extremely competitive and requires long hours, VP of Chamber Music Society, NHS member, a 4x Honor band participant, 3-4 other clubs that I don’t have leadership in, work part time at Target, and do lots of extra volunteer work on the side.

are u in-state? if yes, dw ur in definitely. OOS its a high match

High match or maybe even a reach. OOS is a crapshoot.

OOS actually. Also good luck, I think the international student gives you a huge advantage, despite grades.

Any more input is appreciated!

@emmzzyelizabeth thank u!! (assuming ur talkin bout my UNC chances)

You’re welcome!

bump please!

Last attempt?

Your stats look great. I believe they just expanded the number of OOS they’ll be accepting, so your chances are really good. Good luck!

High match now that they expanded OOS attendance.

Which UNC?
